This is my tribute to growing up in California. Informed by beach culture, byzantine freeways, the clack of the tail of a skateboard snapping against the pavement, the Santa Ana winds, the ever-present hum of the freeway, the salt in the air, the smell of the Pacific, and the warm evenings offering a glimpse of neon through the haze no matter where you looked.

It's sometimes synthwave. Sometimes dreamwave. And there's even an ambient tune that's perfect for the morning after and where the sun's so bright that even your Ray Bans aren't up to the task of you protecting you from the hot glare.

Composed mostly during 2020 when I just learning how to do this stuff.
